Western Area Power chooses forProject

Western Area Power Administration (WAPA) is one of four (4) regional power administrations under the US Department of Energy.   WAPA markets and delivers power into a 15 state region in the western USA.   The Eastern Plains Transmission Project lis a proposed new transmission project that would include about 1,000 miles of new high-voltage transmission lines and related facilities in eastern Colorado and western Kansas.

WAPA is using the Update forProject software as part of an integrated EVMS including Microsoft Project, Deltek Cobra & wInsight.  Update forProject will provide WAPA with a web-based method for distributing schedule updates to the Control Account Manager, improving quality of information and increasing CAM ownership and involvement in the EVMS process.
